For Orlando itself the main annual event is the Silver Spring Rodeo which at 50,000 spectators is the largest rodeo in the Eastern US. Every day is festival day at Walt Disney World with the addition of the Oldsmobile Scramble and Classic for amateur and professional golfers held in October.

The restaurants in the area are divided between those in the Disney complex and those in Orlando town. The town has plenty to offer in the way of local Florida cuisine while the luxury hotels listed will have a wider International cooking style to suit all tastes. Orlando Tipping Advice
Throughout America tipping is more or less compulsory. In restaurants waiters expect around 10-20%, as do taxi drivers and hairdressers, while porters and bellboys anticipate around 1 USD or 2 USD per piece of luggage. You are not expected to tip in fast-food restaurants or cinemas.

Orlando, Florida can boast hot and sunny weather throughout the year. The warmest months are July and August when temperatures can rise to 31 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit). In the cooler months, October through March, temperatures tend to be in the region of 19 Degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit). However, the traveler should be aware that Florida is prone to heavy showers of rainfall and humidity can get quite high.
